Dressing Moroccan style:
You will see many locals wearing jellabas and kaftans, of various designs and weights. Some plain, some highly decorated, some light weight, some a thick wool or felt. You may want a kaftan to wear on beach holidays over your swim wear, or you may get tempted by the heavier winter weights to snuggle up in on a winter’s evening- so head off to the souks.
Look at the jellabas as you wander through the souks, and you will see some quite decorative styles, these are normally worn by the Moroccans for special occasions such as weddings, so you may decide to opt for a plainer style. Find a stall in the souk, and settle down to purchase a jellabah.
