If you take a hired (normal) taxi you will pay more .For a local tour to see all parts of Agadir city just take Petit Taxi ... This first one is for sharing ... so they can pick 3 persons ... and are cheaper than Grand Taxies ... a medium fare for the petit taxies is around 10 dirham ...

Petit taxis are a handy way of getting around Agadir. You will never have to wait long until one appears, just flag them down or go to the nearest taxi rank. Some drivers use their meters, but as a general rule, in the day time, travel around the city is 10dh, at night it's 20dh. Some drivers will ask for 20dh (or even more!) in daytime,but after a couple of days it’s wise to prepare yourself, and have the right money to hand over. As with all services in Morocco, a tip is expected. You can find that when you start trying out newly learning Arabic words such as Shukran bezzef (Thank you very much), and afak (please) to be charged the lower price automatically.

Getting around :

Most of the Agadir's petit taxi are quite legal and use the taximeter (you can ask the driver to do it without any problems). If you go around the center, they will ask you normally from 10 to 20 Dh. There are also some buses but, as usual, they are very crowded, slow, and pass with low frequency. The touristic city is small enough to go walking instead of going by bus.
